Rehanging of the bells begins
All of the bells and the new frame arrived in Hopton from Loughborough ready to be fitted into the tower.
After the experience of trying to get bells past the font during the removal process one of the pews was temporarily removed to allow a safer and easier passage for the bells into the bottom of the tower.
Once in the bottom of the tower all the parts of the frame and bells had to be winched to the top of the tower, this was made easier with the use of an electric winch.
From Monday to Wednesday the bells and framework were assembled at the top of the Tower.
